It's been a busy year for Lynne and whilst she continues to provide music workshops for adults and children with learning difficulties she has been yodelling at Oktoberfest parties, providing ukulele tuition in local primary schools, had even more radio and T.V appearances including teaching Annabelle Port and Geoff Lloyd to yodel on Absolute Radio and lots of new and exciting things are beginning to happen.

In June 2016 Lynne joined forces with Kimberly Kleczka https://www.amazon.co.uk/-/e/B010VTW7WI to bring to the UK the wonderful world of www.koolamundo.com and together they are going to be setting up pre-school music workshops not only in the UK but the rest of Europe and around the world. The first successful workshop was held here in the UK on April 27th 2017 and 3 more are scheduled to take place in July, one being on 20th of July in Henley on Thames and the others in Maidenhead, Berks and Hitchin, Bedfordshire - venues to be confirmed whilst our German representative is looking to open her first one in the next couple of months. Visit the Koolamundo website for further details. Lynne is also writing and co-writing the songs for the forthcoming Koolamundo album.

Previous years have seen Lynne on many TV and radio shows including Channel 4s Sunday Brunch teaching Tim and Simon to yodel along with their guests Paloma Faith, Frank Skinner, Sarah Hadland and Jon Richardson https://youtu.be/uEOD06Ulv0w - (31 seconds in), BBC Breakfast TV teaching Charlie and Naga to yodel, Room 101, Come Dine With Me - twice as the after dinner entertainment, BBC Radio five live, BBC Radio Wales plus many more radio stations including Absolute Radio where she taught Geoff Lloyd and Annabel Port to yodel too.

In 2012 she was yodelling from the main stage at Cornbury Festival https://youtu.be/3CaAi3BGv6Q in front of 5000 people whilst being accompanied by the marvellous Sam Brown and her International Ukulele Club of Sonning Common on the same billing as Elvis Costello, Macy Gray, James Morrison and Will Young to name but a few http://www.cornburyfestival.com/line-up/line-up-2012/ and then much to her surprise, the song was chosen to go onto the album for that year alongside a song selected from every artist that played that weekend including Alison Moyet and Hugh Laurie and the Copper Bottom Band.

She has also had the honour of yodelling with Mr Joe Brown MBE, by request, whilst accompanying him on two separate performances of 'In The Jailhouse Now' at the Ukulele Club concerts and in 2014 Pik Pok games company from New Zealand asked her to yodel on their soundtrack to their game Giant Boulder of Death which was released by Universal Worldwide https://youtu.be/nlvPljYarqA.

Lynne of course is not just a yodeller she is rated as a highly accomplished vocalist and is a multi-instrumenalist playing guitar, ukulele, drums, double bass and now she is teaching herself piano accordian. Her vocal range and ability allows her to sing any kind of music across many genres and her versatility enables her to sing at almost any kind of event from festivals and weddings to corporate events providing a wide selection of popular music. Her corporate clients to date include Gartner Group, First Direct, Lufthanser Airlines and Vanilla Bean Cafe and whilst being a member of Sam Brown's International Ukulele Club of Sonning common, Lynne and her son (a very talented musician in his own right) had the extreme good fortune of recording on Joe Brown's 'The Ukulele Album' released in 2012

Earlier in 2010 she did some session work for Doris Brendal www.myspacecom/dbdriving, the daughter of the worldwide acclaimed pianist Alfred Brendel www.alfredbrendel.com, providing backing vocals on her album - 'The Last Adventure'. In 2009 Lynne's song 'Talk to the Face' was nominated for the UKCountryRradio.com's Listener award where she got into the top three and then in 2010 another song 'The Sky' won her third place in the Listeners Award as well.

Lynne has written three albums one of which is a children's one and has enough material to record two more which she intends to do next year. The priority at the moment is the recording of the 'Yodelling with Yodellynne' album which will be released in October 2017. The last three albums were bluegrass but the new albums will be mixed genres.

Although Lynne is not currently a radio presenter, she spent 5 years hosting a bluegrass radio show on www.ukcountryradio.com during which time she had the pleasure of interviewing such well known artists in the bluegrass world such as Peter Rowan, Jack Lawrence, The Dixie Bee Liners, Claire Lynch and many others and in the spring of 2011 the European Bluegrass Music Association's magazine Bluegrass Europe featured a three page interview on her involvement in the bluegrass media as a DJ.

Alongside all of this from 2004 until 2012 Lynne very successfully ran a pre-school music workshop called Music Makers and it is because of this experience that Koolamundo have asked Lynne to join their team.
